I am an experienced bioinformatician and an enthusiastic researcher, a highly motivated and quick learner. I am a researcher in the field of bioinformatics, specializing in microbial informatics and high-throughput sequence analysis. Having worked in the various bioinformatics roles since 2012, I decided to pursue a PhD in Integrated study through MRC DTP in precision medicine in 2018.
In my PhD research project, I aim to catalogue unknown sequence diversity in various metagenomic datasets.
Before beginning my post-graduate degree at the University of Leicester, I finished a Bachelor’s in Bioinformatics from Saurashtra University. At the University of Leicester, I studied MSc Bioinformatics and acquired background knowledge and skills applied to biological data analysis.
I am a STEMM ambassador. I enjoy designing and participating in public engagement activities and interacting with people from diverse background.
