OIE Collaborating Centre
The CVR has been designated an OIE Collaborating Centre for Viral Genomics and Bioinformatics at the 82nd OIE General Session.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) was created in 1924 and is an intergovernmental organisation responsible for improving animal health worldwide.
As the OIE Collaborating Centre for Viral Genomics and Bioinformatics, the CVR will specialise in developing bioinformatic tools and providing training in their application to facilitate the open sharing and analysis of viral genomic data across the animal health community.
